What to expect, start to finish
1. Project Requirements & Initial Specification
The first step involves a detailed discussion about your project's needs. We'll work with you to understand the intended use of the modular building, required dimensions, internal layout, and the quantity of units needed. Crucially, we'll discuss the final destination, whether it's a remote site in the Al Ain region or an industrial project near Jebel Ali Port, as this impacts design for transport and local conditions. We also review any preliminary performance requirements you have for the building.
2. Local Requirement Specification by Buyer
For any project in the UAE, local codes and ordinances are critical. It's essential that you and your locally appointed professionals identify all applicable requirements – including structural considerations for the desert climate, electrical and plumbing standards, fire/life-safety regulations, and any specific authority mandates from municipalities like Dubai or Abu Dhabi. These details are then incorporated into the building specifications you provide to us, ensuring the modular unit is designed to meet the necessary local standards.
3. Building Configuration & Commercial Review
Once we have a clear understanding of your project and the local specification requirements, we'll refine the building configuration. This includes confirming materials, internal systems, and any specialized features needed for demanding project sites. We then finalize the commercial terms, including pricing, payment schedules, and crucially, the delivery requirements to your chosen location, whether that involves overland transport across the UAE or international shipping.
4. Production & Quality Coordination
With the specifications and commercial terms agreed upon, the modular building enters the production phase. We manage the manufacturing or sourcing process, ensuring that each unit is constructed to the precise project specifications you've provided. Quality control is maintained throughout this stage, aligning with the confirmed scope of work, to ensure the building is robust and ready for its challenging destination.
5. Delivery to Destination
The final stage is the transportation of the completed modular building to your agreed-upon destination. This includes coordinating logistics for efficient and secure delivery across the UAE or globally. It's important to note that local unloading, the preparation of foundations, utility connections, final installation, local permitting, inspections, and any other onsite construction tasks remain the responsibility of the buyer and their local contractors. Our role concludes with the safe delivery of the manufactured modular unit.
